About Focused Training
My name is Nick Elliott and I am a Functional Movement Specialist (FMS).
Focused Training is built on a hybrid approach as I blend ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), performance and therapeutics, to serve you in achieving results through a sustainable training model.
I achieved my NASM-CPT in 2013 and spent many years in big-box gyms, small boutique gyms, and family owned facilities. I never found my home. What I experienced was an enormous lack of awareness and education in regard to human movement and how we as health professionals address pain and dysfunction. I went on to study Chain Reaction Biomechanics, Soft Tissue Therapy, Multidimensional Movement Training, Spherical Matrix Training, 3D Maps Assessment, as I finished my B.S. degree with a focus on sustainability practices in healthcare and wellness. This extensive education, with a desire to keep learning and applying, has provided a foundation to truly support and empower people as they go through various stages of life.
